How We Secure and Handle Your Data
Zero Data Retention
ALGO AI has adopted a default policy of “zero data retention” in terms of data privacy and security, including:
- Do not store prompts and generated data:
For all open models, ALGO does not log or store prompts or generated data unless the user explicitly opts in. - Log metadata only:
ALGO logs only the metadata necessary (such as the number of tokens in the request) to provide the service. - User-selectable logging data:
Users can explicitly choose to log prompts and generated data to use certain advanced features (e.g., Optimizer). - Data processing for proprietary models:
For ALGO’s proprietary models, prompt words and generated data may be recorded for batch analysis to improve the model.
In this case, the data record is explicitly stated in the model description.
In addition, when prompt caching is enabled, some prompt data and associated KV caches may be stored in volatile memory for several minutes, but this data will not be logged to any persistent storage.
